Nyskopunarvefur.is is a website launched by the University of Iceland Institute of Public Administration and Politics. The website hosts versitile information about public sector innovation. On the website you will find information on; how you can launch a culture of innovation within an organization, barries to innovation, innovation workprocesses, co-design, e-government and related themes. We also host links to various innovation websites, domestic and international.
On the website you will also find information about The Public Sector Innovation of The Year Awards. The awards are awarded by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with The Association of Directors of Government Institutions, The Institute of Public Administration and Politics, The Icelandic Center for Research and Innovation Center Iceland. The Public Sector Innovation Award for 2011 will be presented at the Public Sector Innovation Conference, November 3, at Grand Hotel Reykjavík. On the website you will find a brief description on the nominee projects.
